Plus
3.2 clubsport
993 C2
993 RS

Yes, quite the list.. Don't think I could have parted with the 993 GT2 personally, but appreciate from reading his articles at the time the reasons why he did.

More like £800K+ I'd have said. There were only 8 RHD cars made, this is low mileage & looks totally original. They don't come up that often, particularly not in RHD.

Lovely looking car, but I'm glad I only have a recreation so I can drive it & not worry about what it's worth!

I was looking at an old (2005) Porsche magazine last night. 3 x 993 GT's for sale, most expensive being £75K.

Must be just me that thinks it's an ugly car then. Great line in the ad: "28,000 careful miles". BS at the best of times (how do they know?) but especially so in this case.

I think I'd be moving it on for 800k - just imagine trying to insure that for full replacement value. I'd be looking for a whole garage with the proceeds!

A car history almost beyond compare when you add in things like the Sport Evo M3 etc.

I believe he now owns "Kermit" aka the Tuthill car again...tweeted to that effect a while ago. I remember the vids about it from when IIRC he was at Autocar....trick suspension which cost £30k!

only 8 of them? much lower than I thought!
I bumped into Richard Green at a track day a couple of years ago and he owns 2!

Interesting that the ad states 'as it left the factory' but during Chris' tenure Porsche GB had to rebuild the gearbox - which took ages because two of the ratios (can't remember which) were bespoke to the GT2...possibly not something they'd want to put in the ad, but makes you wonder how open they'd be to a prospective owner.
