After staring a quick job to change the diff mountings I’ve ended up ripping most of the under side apart! If I knew how, I’d post picks of the gutless Cerb…

One of the things I found was fluid leaking down one of the old dampers, so time for new suspension all round I think.

Has anyone on here fitted Joolz’s new dampers? Are they height adjustable? Or should we bite the bullet & go for Nitrons. If we do will Joolz still give advice on final set up if I fit them my self? I seem to remember reading on here somewhere that he has stopped doing that.

Hi there... looks like you're doing just the same as me at the moment!!! Well, I also remember Joolz saying he won't supply mail order Nitrons anymore as it takes the ownership of the final result out of his hands and so if you fit them yourself and aren't happy, you have no comeback. I'm busy fitting a set and have stumbled upon a few teething problems, which is always to be expected, but there are no hidden catches to getting the kit on the car.... My situation is a bit more complex as I'm fitting custom springs sets onto the older Nitron NTX dampers, so am having so feel as I go. If you bought a complete kit you'd probably find it a dodle. The Nitron NTRs are by all accounts the best available so if you can afford it.... go for it!!

P.s. thats one very sexy Cerb you have there - is it a 4.2??

Yup, thats the one - so far Sooooooo good!! Just experineced the usual niggles - all electrical related e.g. heater buttons working one day, then not the next, wipers coming on randomly (fixed now!) etc etc. The suspension however felt like an accident waiting to happen so am fitting some new ones at the mo..... will be at the rolling road day and the 'Cerbs in the city event' though..........

Why thank you both!

It’s a 4.5 but I should in all fairness point out (as it says in my profile) it is actually my other half’s Cerb & she ant bad looking her self… Hence my log in name

I don’t envisage any probs with the actual fitting, as I said I have the car in bits right now with the offending leaking damper on the floor!

I think we may go, for the Nitrons, we can spilt the cost(!). But I’m just worried that if Joolz won’t help with the set up we’ll be wasting money…

P.S. Got 345 standard bhp last weekend on the PH day, I know what’s next on the list.
