My latest resto? Haha !!

Decided Tvr's are beyond me so going back to my roots,, toy cars,,,,
This little Jaguar 3.8 S is getting a full resto, new screen, and chromes,, and a full re spray,, Paris blue maybe

My mate collects toys, I did some tree cutting for him so he threw this car in as part payment ,

The bodies coming on nicely.
Funny thing is my Dad owned a real one when I was a small lad, the car totally fasinated me and I've loved both cars and Jags ever since,
Funny how a toy car can take you right back

I know, ain't it great. the sound of that S stayes with me even now!
Actually my old Pa was an electro-mechanical engineer and did well for himself and this was his toy, I'd spend every night in the garage with him servicing it and the like,,,, great young memories.

Anorak time - it is, of course, either a 3.4S or a 3.8S, not a 3.6S . Unless the 3.6 is an average figure as SpotOn don't say which.

Great cars in their day, best in dark metallic burgundy with a light interior, on chrome wires.

3.8 the iconic 3.8,, yes excuse me, dunno what happened there!
Ironically when I was looking for my Chim it was in honour of my old dads love of such cars,,,
When my Paris Blue Chim came along I just had to have it as it reminded me of the colour of our families S Type.
Everyday my Chimaera reminds me of my Dad and that great car he once owned.
