Why do we always find things to argue about? Left vs Right, North vs South, Islam vs Christianity, Apple vs Windows, Pepsi vs Coke, FWD vs RWD. Climate change, football, TV shows, etc. It seems that even the most outwardly balanced and pragmatic person will have some strongly held belief or issue on which they are unwilling to bend. Is it in our nature to fight? Do we as humans need to find this conflict? Since most of us in the developed world are no longer physically competing for resources or land, we are having stupid (and sometimes very heated) debates about the mundane. Will people ever be able to live in peace or are we destined to fight it out until the last man standing?

We all belong to a tribe of one type or another. Thus, survival of the fittest is still implicit in human existence and we are imbued with a sense of protecting our own gene pool or those we deem as like us. I know, it's crap isn't it? Who'd be a human nowadays?
