Something like that... you can use that for almost anything.
I would take my Blok chefs knife. Again, you can use that for cutting anything. Including using it as a machete :-)

I recently got a 9" Saiun Damascus Gyuto, lovely bit of kit - http://www.japanesechefsknife.com/SaiunDamascusSer...
I'm in need of a good pan at the moment, would either of you chaps care to comment on the longevity of the non-stick finish of the ones recommended above? No good being stranded with a pan that sticks after a few months use
.
The luxury item from my kitchen would be my induction cooker, may be a bit of an infrastructure issue powering it on an desert island though

An old fashioned Dutch oven with the lipped lid so you can put hot coals on top of it, a decent sized but fairly flexible knife so you can skin animals and a rotating spit.
I've used a cast iron frying pan on open fires for years, so I'd go with the above. You can clean it with sand and water if needed, and it will never 'lose' it's non-stick. If it does, then it'll re create it with some fat and heat

The SKK's the best I've used, having tried Circulon, Le Creuset & Anolon previously.
