Do I really need a vantage s?

Just after some friendly advice, had a db9 and just bought a 4.7 vantage. I have had it 4 weeks now just don't like the sound compared to a db9 .
I know it's a v8 vs a v12 but the engine sounds like the tappets are going and there's no deep rumble it's what can I say more refined taken out fuse 15 still not impressed started looking for a vantage s roadster (has a better sound )the dealer wants mine plus 12k same year similar mileage mines got warranty clear lights carbon splitter side skirts so what I'm asking is it really worth it or should I pay 3 k on a new exhaust and bits from bamford rose or what can I do to make it sound like a vantage s

Did taking out fuse 15 make any difference? I have not taken mine out yet, wonder if makes much difference? The GT has same exhaust and HP of the S. To me is sounds nice, but it will never sound like a V12.

I have a GT too, and really like the rumble, but it's a V8 rumble, not a V12.

If you want louder and sharper, get the 200 cell Cats and an X pipe when you get the sport muffler.
that will give a very sharp bark and cackle on over run

Taking out fuse 15 changes the sound a bit but not significantly

It doesn't seem to make any difference, I'm sure the 'fault' gets logged somewhere but my dealer didn't mention it.

It almost sounds like it's not worth doing for little benefit. GT sounds nice already.

Get an exhaust specialist to make you some of these - transforms the noise and the car

just the cats will already be loud, if you also do the boxes it will often be very loud...too loud.

Not in my case - sound is just spot on (for me) in all driving conditions.

Can't really quote on price as the specialist "borrowed" my car for a few days to make the patterns so I got a very good discount
