VT2 question

Hi all.

I had a post removed by the lovely PH admins so I shall try again with a different theme...

I will be buying a VT2 GTS or GTSR and I'm looking for help.

I owned a VT2 from 2008 to 2010 and I'm back for more!

I know this is the place to ask what's out there with a price tag or may becoming available soon.

Must be a VT2 with the LS1 lump.

Posting here worked for me when I came back for a second helping of the VT2.

This http://r.ebay.com/NkOf6I is on ebay at the moment, although I would be making an offer rather than paying the asking price.

there weren't many imported and fewer of those are still around, so you just have to hunt ebay and http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/ would be good

What number was your previous one?

Yes that price on eBay is sky high considering what else is out there.

It was probably removed due to me replying just like my threads but I know why ;-)

I believe you can not put wanted on but plenty have and do still so there is no consistency across the board

I'd speak to Gary (raving), as he has a nice blue one like that in his yard and stick100's old GTS-R too.

You do need to worry about corrosion, as I found out just how bad this can be with my VT2.

Agreed Raving, you can easily look at any of the other sub forums on PH and there's loads of for sale, wanted, how much etc etc threads yet these seem to be ignored, makes you wonder what's so special about the HSV forum that it's so heavily modded !!!!

That's why the post count is heavily down on what it used to be on this forum and folk are going elsewhere on the net with much more freedom to do what they need to. Thin edge of the wedge I reckon.

Usually when its me , as certain people like to try & shut me up , yea right , they can not control every forum though

I have tested the wanted thread elsewhere on the Ultima & Porsche General & 911 & never got lifted so there you go , also replied to people wanting stuff & had no problem either so the finger points at here more so

Last week I mailed the moderators & they never even replied , makes me laugh

Bit like my post on Pedders broken spring, I sarcastically said it was made in our local chinese takeaway or something like that & I had a mail saying it was removed for naming & shaming ??? How you work that out ? No banter allowed

Then again if I had said Bilstein ( good product ) was naff I bet it would still be on here ( I wonder why ) !!!!!!!

Lsv8 was slaughtered on here & whether it was right or wrong & it all stayed on far all to see , that was naming & shaming !

I believed forums were to help enthusiasts & general marque chat & also advise where ness etc

Anyway I ll retreat back into my hole again as I have probably said something wrong other than stating facts !

Just for clarity yet again,

If you post up a thread, for vehicle for sale, wanted or valuation the thread will be removed, no if no buts, regardless of the forum.

The OP in this instance refers to a vehicle wanted thread he posted that got removed, nothing special about HSV forum it would have been pulled in any forum it was posted in.

We don't read every thread that's posted, let alone every post that's made on every thread.

If you see something that we may have missed on any forum the please report it and we will take whatever action is required.
