Heard a song on the radio the other day, stuck in my head, annoying me now. The station it was on doesn't have a playlist.

It was a cheezy pop reggae number similar in style to UB40 & Pato Banton - Baby Come Back, had a real summer vibe about it

The lyrics were along the lines of;

"...fill my mind...turn me around whoah oh"

Tried a few apps and lyrics searches aren't even getting close, anyone any ideas? It's bound to be a well known pop number.

My first thought was Inner Circle - Sweat but on checking it's not.

The mid 90s had loads of this in the charts, check Youtube and it'll turn up (if it is mid 90s obviously).

Reasonable suggestion guys, however, it's more upbeat/four-to-the-floor than those two

Baby come back is the closest in vibe/style, it's also a bit like a speeded up Ballistic Brothers - Peckings https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYUg2Nqn7MQ

In terms of tone, its less longing for what he had but more what he's getting that night.

Fat Freddy's Drop - 10 Feet Tall?

New out and a bit UB40 sounding.

OK Fred: Errol Dunkley, Last Plane (One way ticket): Eastwood & Saint, Good Thing Going: Sugar Minott.
None have the lyric in question (off the top of my head) but are any of them in the cricket pitch?

regards,
Jet

I can't find the OP's lyric in this song, but it's so perfectly cheesey, that I had to share it:

Cheers for more suggestions guys. Jet not any of them, they're proper reggae numbers that you've posted. The track I'm after is quite upbeat and I'm not convinced it's by a reggae band/act, but someone covering the style. It's also more recent, difficult to judge but 90s or later, hell it may even be just a couple of years old.
