Hi recently bought a tasmin 350 wedge, the bonnet catch was broken and left in the boot, it can probably be fixed but would prefer to buy a new one. I know it's a ford part but what model is it from?

Hi and welcome to the mad world of Wedges....As i understand it the boot and bonnet lock mechanisms were from Ford Fiesta's. Not sure if it was mk1...mk2.....Although the bonnet release cable is probably MG or something...It was on my 280i....

Just did a search but couldn't find a good example...

Cheers

Bonnet catch on the 390SE is also buggered. Looking at images it's a Mk1 bonnet catch.

Its defo fiesta as I replaced mine meny moons ago. I kept the original and I think I put it in the box the new one came in so I will have a root to see if I can find it and shed light on which year of fiesta.
