Nice Mk2 Tuscan S driving through Sunderland about lunchtime today. Followed you along Tunstall Rd but lost you on the Hope Rd when I was stuck behind a slowcoach.
Do you live in Sunderland?

I think that will be me, I am originally from Sunderland, up visiting parents for the bank holiday weekend. Were you in the griff? (Had a quick look at your profile) usually I am a good spotter of other TVR's as I like to encourage shenanigans.

I was in my shed (Citroen Berlingo, goldy colour).
Had the griff out yesterday for a good blast.

Unfortunately it looks like the weather is going to be rubbish for the rest of the weekend,.

Just checked your profile - back in the sands of time I was a flight systems tech, Wessex, Puma & Tornado, Odiham, Cottesmore, Honington & Valley- small world

My second run of the winter was yesterday travelling up from
Oxford, got lucky with the weather. It was stored over winter so trying to get a few runs in and iron out any niggles before taking it to France next weekend. I actually remember the Berlingo behind me, I've just fitted those stainless straight through cans so look for the reaction of drivers behind to see if they are too loud!

I'm probably heading to the small car show at Ryhope pumping station tomorrow for a look around (pre 98 cars only though).
Wondered if you'd like to meet up somewhere @ chew the fat for a while, maybe a quick beer before lunch?

Ah now that would be nice, unfortunately with me living away and only back for the weekend I've got to do the family rounds including visiting a grandmother in hospital, also believe I am on dog sitting duties at somepoint tomorrow. My next event will probably be burghley house start of April, but will be driving from the south. I'll keep and eye out for the car and if I am home over summer I'll send you a message for a blast drivingdriving

What are the arrangements for the show tomorrow? I am going to try and make time for it. Are you taking any of the Tivs? Is there a link to an advert and I'll try and make an appearance in the Tuscan weather and time dependant.

I emailed the organiser about putting a car on the show field and they said not if it's post 1998.

I' was thinking about getting there for about 11 before the worst of the weather hit. If the weather looks ok I'll probably take the griff but
leave it outside the show area.

If you decide to go, why don''t we meet near the tea tent at 11 ? No doubt I'll have a griff related t shirt on

I am not going to make it today, I managed to free up some time to get along, but instead going to chose to use that time to help out my grandfather with his house work. Hopefully the weather stays fine and it's a good show for you!
