Just thought I'd say how wonderful these cars are. Took the Tuscan out yesterday in the sun and this morning for some "milk" Not started the old girl up since Boxing Day and it started without so much as a wheeze or splutter...

Dehumidifier now switched off and leather fed and wow after 14 years the leather is as soft as it was new.

There is so much bad press out there about TVR's yet I sit writing this whilst the Evoque is in the garage again for warranty work which Land Rover have no idea what's going on.

Bloody TVR's so unreliable.

Love em......

Last breakfast meet I attended at Shelsley, comment from a typical car "enthusiast"

" Nice car mate, how reliable is it, as you know what they say "
My reply,
" Well it effin made it here didn't it "

Another Evoque/TVR driver here and the Land Rover spent a fair bit of time in the garage too, although a week in a brand new full-fat Range Rover Vogue was some consolation!
The Cerb has spent more time in garages, though always servicing/maintenanc etc, it's never actually let me down.

Lucky you, car still in now been three weeks and still LR are yet to fix the simple fault.. had a multitude of courtesy cars from jags to full fat disco. Currently in a disco sport, not great.

So these bloody TVR's, terrible unreliable.....

My wife had her brand new jag xf company car delivered, she did 100 miles in it and it was then back in the dealer for 2 week with a add blue fault. While it was in there i got them to sort out the low tyre pressure warning out, that was going mental and there was condensation in the drivers side headlamp.New cars, you can keep them.

It is nice though

Had my Griff out today for it's first run since September last year. My present daily driver is an Audi A6 Avant, which so far has been reliable, unlike my BMW 535D which broke down on a daily basis. The Griff just keeps going.

Another tvr/ evoque driver here too, yes the evoque has been in the garage for a dash strip out to fix a rattle !!! Lost the car for three weeks !! Not sure I'd buy another one as I expected the build quality to be better !!

Been out just a couple of times this year so far due to bad weather. Broke down in the Chim on the first run out and the first time ever had to be recovered by the AA (fuel pump).
Year ago on holiday in Scotland broke down and had to drive all the way with my personal cloud of smoke keeping me company (turbo seals).

Meanwhile her Toyota Yaris diesel gets 63 mpg........cry

so called

Blimey TVR'S and Land Rovers.
We changed the Evoque for a Disco 4 last year.
Get back to the UK Monday and it will be straight to the garage to get my freshly serviced Tuscan.
Can't wait.
Looking forward to seeing my Wife too of course. smile She has just paid for my upgraded front discs. (now that's what I call a valentine prezzy) smile
