Three kids in a Maserati Grantursimo...
Discussion
Does the collective wisdom of PH have any experience of fitting three kids into the back of a Maserati Granturismo?
My notion is that the rear seat is in theory large enough to fit three across. I know the solutions like the multimac seats would fit, but my eldest is too big for this solution. Has anyone ever look at, or indeed completed, a modification of the rear Centre part to fit a lap belt and replace the hard Centre piece with a padded bolster of some sort? My sense is that it looks possible but I'm unclear of the legalities and practicalities of doing this.
I gather that there are a number of expert trimmers/upholsterers across the country so if anyone has a recommendation in Kent/Sussex/surrey area that too would be immensely helpful. I have heard that similar mods have been done in th back of 456s and 612s so I'm hopeful I can get something done. Fortunately the interior is plain black leather so easier to match for any changes.
So, any advice/ideas would be tremendous - simply put its this or take the XC90 down to France instead... I am sure you'll feel my pain!
Thanks
