RE sump plug

After my sump plug came out and gave me a fright, I have put a new plug in and filled her with Mobil super 10/40. I took the h/t lead off the coil and cranked her over, then put the h/t back on the coil and fired her up. It runs fine with no horrible noises, I let her get warm until the fans kicked in a few times and the oil pressure is a steady 50. It looks as though I got lucky, just have to take her for a run to confirm all is well thanks for the assist

I would question why you chose Mobil 10/40. TVR only recommended it because adding the Mobil sticker to the engine bay meant that they got the oil for free. We have to pay for our oil so it makes sense to spend our money on better oil

It`s a good oil and more than adequate for the job, plus I got a tenner off
