hi,
does anyone know if the shift light function (available if you bought sports chrono on Gt4) can be purchased separately from OPC?

I read on RL that it was possible to do so in Germany.

anyone tried? tks

I've got SC and haven't noticed the shift light... Unless it's on that Gear Change Assist thingy??

I think he means the little triangle which appears on the right side of the gear number display in the centre of rev counter. Dont know if it can be added later.

[troll mode] Standard on all Lotus Evoras smile [/troll mode]

Mickey taking aside, I would have thought it was standard on the GT4, I am sure the OPC told me it was, just before they told me I couldn't order one and would I like a GTS instead.

i meant the gear shift assist menu (which comes with sports chrono). can we retrofit that?

I missed the old shift lights in the GT3 so much easier and free....

It is probably just software although the that doesn't mean the dealer will/can enable it for you. The G-Meter and display that come with the Chrono pack are definitely just software as the same sensor info is available on the PCM without. I would guess no extra hardware at all is needed for the shift light or downshift blip either.
