Cayman R (987.2 series) Binnacle Rattle
Discussion
Hi All
Wondering if anyone has come up with an elegant solution to rattling rear binnacles. My problem is on a 987.2 R but assume that the same problem exists for all other 987 series vehicles.
The rear binnacles that sit behind the seats have driven me nuts since I bought the car new. I think within 200 miles, I had put sticky dots on the contact point of the lid but I swear it has gotten worse. I think the vibration of the engine at certain speeds goes through the springs for the lid.
Anyone successfully solved this?
Thanks
