16 inch rims ?

I had 16s on my Tamora many years ago, fitted with Goodyear f1s.
Amazing feel, but I fear the change of tread pattern in the intervening years might render this observation moot.
Going off at a slight tangent here.... Anyone who prefers feel over looks (oo-er missus) should try a Tamora on 16s around some decent twisties. That's PROPER driving.

I'm going to give this a go when I have a full weekend to play. Then if it works for me I'l get the 16" rims refurbed. There are a couple of marks, and I want them shadow chrome....Amazing feel, but I fear the change of tread pattern in the intervening years might render this observation moot.

I had 16 inch Spiders on both my Tamora and the Mk1 Tuscan I have now. - these seemed to be the original fit items for these two cars.Dale
Both cars drove really well with the 16 inch rims on.
The Tamora became more twitchy on standard suspension setup when I changed the 16's to 18's but still nice enough to drive with some spirit !
The Tuscan went from the 16's to 19inch Jade R's and for such a big change in tyre wall height, they drive fantastically well, but this car does beneift from Nitrons all round, so i'm expecting that has a lot to do with that. - a fantastic to drive.
