Every day I drive to work via Highgate in London. I always see the same two DB9s parked up (one with a number plate starting with '4' and one with 'D' I think). Just wondering if the owners are on here?? They look stunning - next time me and the Mrs will park up the V12V next to one of them when going to one of the pubs. See if the owner(s) notice...will make a great photo at the least... biggrin

I always see these too when I drive through - the one lower down the hill is a Volante, and has 'EJ' in the reg. I was disappointed not to see the other one at the top of the hill yesterday!

Haha it's weird isn't it that it feels like something is missing when one or both cars aren't there? biggrin

They make nice eye candy when driving through. smile

Do you drive through in an Aston as well my friend?

I do indeed! Only an 8 banger, but keeps a big smile on my face.

Amazing photo. Where was that?

Nothing wrong with the V8 Vantage my friend - I had one myself. Great sound and agility!

Do you know of any other Aston owners on here in the London area? Love to do a meet up drive and a Sunday pub lunch in Highgate with a parade of Astons... biggrin

When considering the number of new Aston Martins sold in the U.K. each year, compared to the number of contributors here, I think the PHers must be just a tiny minority of the owners.

Some owners have even left PH, following topics that went wild.

OK you have drawn me out.
I have been watching this thread as I am familiar with those two Astons.
I always see them parked up when I drive through Highgate on Sunday about once a month when I go to Spitalfields for both business and a walkabout.
I also have wondered whether they are on PH or whether they have a life instead. laugh

There are certainly a lot kicking around the London area! My picture was taken in the Peak District (took mine for a bit of a trip at the weekend). Would be good to have a little London meet-up.

There used to be two of us on Southwood Lane, but I now have a V12V and the other guy has a Vanquish.

That's the illusion isn't it? When talking to people on here it just feels natural that 90% of Aston owners are on this PH forum. When it's really probably only 10%...

Funnily enough it's the other forums which seem to have the annoying people and the anger and elitism. The people on the Aston forum always seem to be so friendly. smile

Excellent. That's straight on the A40 (damn average speed check!) which goes straight to me in King's Cross.

Funny how when you're an Aston owner / fan you always notice the other Astons when driving about! Sundays hey? Surely I can arrange a Sunday when you'll be down to join up with us? wink

Ah, the Peak District is a beautiful place - ever been to Matlock? Hard to find as stunning places to drive when living in London!

I definitely want to get a meet up arranged. Doesn't have too many of us either. The weather is getting better and the days are getting longer...

Both great cars... biggrin

You're parallel to North Hill - me and Mrs Maximus ate at The Bull the other week. Great food. Ever been?

So guys (and possible girls)... who are reading this right now:

How's a Sunday meet up on North Hill in Highgate (lots of parking all along the road) for lunch and a drive sound?

Sunday 17th April maybe...or too soon? Nice to get at least a few of us. smile
