Always after a nibble with a beer, I have just discovered these, complete with artificial flavourings from USA. Makes a change from the pork scratchings but just as flavoursome. Well worth a look.
Also peanuts covered in Mccoy's crisps. Top idea!
Anything else out of the ordinary nuts/crisps to try?

Not nuts or crisps but my favourite drinking snack by far is Biltong or Jerky, any flavour. The small packets on sale in tesco etc are massively expensive for the amount you get so I found a company that makes it and it works out about a third of the price.
- I love biltong - but make my own. It's very easy (takes 3-5 days all in all, depending how moist you like it), is just delicious and much cheaper - there have been threads in the past about how to make your own biltong maker, the biltong making process etc. i normally use a 1.5kg - 2kg piece of silverside.i would strongly recommend giving it a go - just make sure you use decent meat - the difference in product between meat from a decent butcher and that from a supermarket is worlds apart - I know the butcher will cost about twice as much, but it is so much better that i feel it's worth it. if cost was an issue, then i'd use the butcher, but eat it half as often, instead of eating more made from supermarket meat. the only think i have to watch is how much i eat - it's quite easy to finish a couple of hundred grams in a sitting (and it loses about 50% weight during drying).

My homemade biltong is my favourite. Either the mango chutney or peri peri marinated versions.
I've never made my own biltong, but I picked up some Limpopo biltong at a food festival before Christmas. François' chilli bacon biltong is utterly delicious.For hot food to have with beer, it's got to be chicken wings.
