For a while Asda (not sure of other supermarkets) did a curry flavored sauce that came in a condiment bottle like ketchup. although I never purchased it often I loved it as it worked so well in a fried egg sandwich. However I have not seen it on sale in their store or online for a good couple of years.

Does anyone know if any of the big supermarkets -rule out morrisons as there is none near me- sell them? the sauce was yellowish in colour. I would love to be able to get it again!

I don't want to sound like a genius or anything but if you mix curry powder (say a teaspoon) with a good squirt of ketchup you will have it. Heating it up even in the microwave is good to serve with sausages. I can't get enough currywurst...

Curry ketchup is usually available at pound stretcher. Alternatively make some yourself as mentioned above.

Currywurst is the best food in the universe by the way biggrin

Bisto Chip Shop Curry sauce, make it a bit thick and leave it to cool.

I'm not sure it will be the same. I'm after the condiment. IMO it tastes great in a fried egg sandwich (which i had many times in uni).

My recommendation is as follows:

Mix this:
Maggi Masala Chilli sauce

And this:
Tiptree ketchup

Ratio to taste. It's bang on.
