Elise S1 side mirrors

Out of curiosity, are the side mirrors in the S1 foldable?
I'm planning to buy one sooner or later, and the entrance/exit in my garage is very tight...

They don't really fold back, they bend a bit as part of the adjustment. This was overly tight, an extra coat of wax would've spelt disaster



The thing is they aren't really wide but you may have issues getting the door open enough to get over the high sill. It'll be fine in a regular single garage though unless it's particularly narrow. The reason mine was so far over there was because parked alongside is a Vespa - but it is still in a single garage.

Nope, and it's a bit irritating not having them fold, but I don't think the hips are that much narrower than the mirrors anyway, are they?
