Good pubs, Kesington

Bibendum is just around the corner, and is absolutely fab. If you're worried about price, they run a set menu at ~£30 for two courses.
Hawksmoor is also back up the road towards Harrods, and will probably serve you the best steak you can find in London.
Pubs/bars around that neck of the woods aren't fantastic - they tend to fall the wrong side of 'gastro'/swanky to be genuinely enjoyable. If you're pushed for time, the Queens Arms next door to RAH isn't terrible for a pint and a bite, but location means that it tends to get busy.
For late dining, Meursault is a something a bit different, and open as a cocktail bar (serving Japanese food) until well past midnight.

5 mins from RAH. Lovely place, used to have Coys of Kensington opposite with stuff like this in.

Now sadly turned into houses over the last few years.
