Hi Guys

Thinking of buying a damaged camper, pics as attached.

Owner managed to tip it on its side at a very low speed after hitting a grass verge (no scrap marks), he manged to drive home without any issues, wheel went flat after he parked it up at home.

-What do you guys think? the sills seem to be pushed in, are the sills a easy repair.

-panel damage to side, could this be repaired or would it need a new panel, wont makes sense to open up the entire side panel to swap it for a new panel on a old van.

-screen im hoping cracked with the vibration, worst case the pillar is bent at this stage should i walk away?

-small side window was cracked when the side mirror pushed itself into the cab.

-roof is intact no damage.

The one think that worries me is the wheel going flat after driving it home, could it be that the vans wasn't driving straight hence killed the Tyre.

Is there anything else that i should look out for, could i drive it around by just changing the windscreen, and leaving the sills as is, knocking out most of the dents?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Cheers

You forgot to mention how much he wants for it.

With damage like that keep walking, unless you want something that looks like a dog or costs a fortune!

That may not look like heavy damage but all the internal fittings which are made from a fairly light wooden framework and fixed to the body will have twisted in the accident and also window and roof seal possibly compromised, youll be chasing leaks forever more.

If you have a perverse desire for hassle in your life go for it, otherwise don't bother it looks like a nightmare.

Christ even in perfect condition it looks a horrible place to spend any time.
