C36 or 43 AMG for investment?

Looking for a nice old super saloon which isn't going to lose a fortune and started looking at these. I know the 36 is the original car but they all seem to be high milers now whereas the 43 can still be found with decent miles. I know each has it's good and bad points but which is most likely to hold it's money for a nicely looked after example?

I would go C36, as contemporary road test articles have it as the purer drive. Both are rare cars and likely to appreciate, though perhaps not by a massive amount as they always slipped under the radar during the era, which was when the E36 M3 ruled the saloon car category.

Hi. I'm thinking the same way about the C36, it's just finding one with low enough miles on it as they all seem to be heading towards the 100k mark whereas I can still find lower mileage C43s to get some use out of.
