Well she bought me a nice Seiko for my birthday a couple of years ago,and come changing of the clocks i couldnt pull out the winder. i also noticed the stopwatch button has jammed and on closer examination i have scratched the glass.
It gets hammered at work and all though its a tough watch perhaps a G shock may be better for work and the Seiko becomes an after hours watch.
So the question is, where is the best place to get it repaired, i appreciate any Seiko dealer should be able to do it,but im guessing repairs are farmed out these days?
So any experiences of high street dealers please.

Pusher is probably a simple case of stripping and cleaning the case then lubricating the seals, time setting may well be the same or could be a movement fault (fairly unlikely) or water ingress rusting the stem in place. Glass is probably available genuine or will certainly be replaceable with a generic mineral.
Can you post the calibre & case numbers off the back (4 alpha-numeric characters followed by a hyphen followed by another 4 characters) and I'll check availability of parts for you.
