Clues to cookie strangeness

Some behaviour that may help you track down the log-in/recent post problems of late:

- often the 'last visited' time is reset to the current time, so that the 'What's New' view shows no new posts. However, after this 'What's New' will sometimes pull up a complete list back to my (correct) previous visit time.
- I am frequently automatically logged out and hence not recognised on my return - this never used to happen.
- my preference for viewing other posters' stats is being forgotton on a regular basis.

Hope this helps - there are of course workarounds to these problems but it becomes tedious if you spend as long as I do on PH each day.
