Hi all, is the r400 a myth anybody got any info. When my current r lease ends next year do I go out and order a Focus RS or wait for new r400 if such a thing. I would prefer another golf. HELP!

I think everything points towards it being pulled following the emissions scandal.

From what I can Glenn from the German press, there is going to be a light refresh of the golf post the a3 facelift coming through - probably next year, and with it come the likelihood of the r420
Nothing is fixed I guess

If it does become a reality it will be a lot more expensive that what I expect you're thinking it will be.

That's not to say I'm assuming you won't be able to afford it. But it'll probably be nearer £60k than £30k.

If it's that level then it will be a marketing exercise only nuts for a Golf to be at that level.

Get a nice DB7 V12 and a Golf R plus change for fuel for a few years.

I'm with you guys ..... It won't ever come.

However I have been told that they are going to release it as a run out model of the 7 before the 8 comes along.
