I hate,HATE paying tax, have been self employed for a long time and it was crap paying tax at end of year, but have just started an employed job and payed 2,100 tax this month, that makes me soooooo depressed.

I think everyone should pay the same amount of tax, something like 50 quid a week.I know the country will slump downhill but I coudnt give a f**k about it,I trained and worked my ass of to get a well paid job and find it difficult to accept paying tax to these ba*tards.

christ,I'm in some mood.

I say scrap all forms of income tax, and raise VAT. Encourages people to save their money.

No argument from the mill working contingent.

Taxation is merely communism via biro rather than bayonet.

The country's prosperity would spiral into Veyronic wonder by adopting the eminently sensible policy suggestion of the poster above.

Ruddy baarstards!

You are depressed at earning nearly £65000 a year? My heart bleeds for you, really it does.

Try the fantasy world of IR35 or s660a, its a wonder to behold.
Taxed on money you have neither earnt, been gifted, stolen or obtained by any other means.

It is all about your status and how it can be 'deemed' to exist, bit like WMD's. What evidence, when they have 'but what if' to argue against you with. Same mentality as the speed kills brigade, but the Robbinu have means of making you suffer big time, having your license taken away is an inconvienence compared to losing the lot, just because we say so in this scenario we dreamt up, backdated and interest charged.
