F*#%ing water!!!!!
Discussion
I have asked this before, as I'm sure many others may have done, but can anyone recommend ANYWHERE that would be able to stop my early 2000 mk1 Tuscan from leaking?? It is absolutely doing my tree in! It's one of the ones with the early push-on type rubbish rubber trim that seems to channel water down the inside front top corner of the side windows, down the cockpit trim and onto the inside of the glass and into the foot wells. Had a full on puddle inside last weekend!

....And relax!!

Had similar issue on my '04 Mk.1. After a rain shower the area around the cill/door seal would be wet...And this on my new carpets too!!
Eventually cured it by removing shim from top hinge, and (with it better, but not completely dry) then renewing the door/targa seal. I got my seal profile from RaceTech...seems to be retaining 'elasticity' better than profile I got from TVR Parts
At some point in the whole trial and error process, I removed the 'hockey-stick' moulding from the A-pillar and 'tweaked' the metal guide under the moulding to exert more pressure on the glass as it closes on to seal.
I would say the gap between your windscreen header and the leading edge of the targa in your 'photo seems quite wide...sure you've got the roof well pushed 'home' into the header?

Make sure the front end of the targa seal overlaps the door seal at the top corner and use some sealant to stick the targa seal to the roof panel. One side of mine wasn't as the seal was too short and I had a problem with water getting into the targa seal round profile and then running along and into the car. I've also adjusted the angle of the window frames in the doors and the top metal guides to push the glass against the door seal properly.
