M135i DSC Unit Failure

Returned my 2013 M135i to the dealer (Vines Guilford) yesterday morning to investigate a nasty rattle coming from the parcel shelf area which is very audible on central London roads.
Got a call at 4pm to be told the car's DSC unit had failed and needed to be replaced under the manufacturers warranty. Sadly - no ETA on when they'd return the car as the parts have to come from Germany. No light on the dash either to tell me it had failed - apparently that bit broke too.
Not cool. Especially as I had exactly the same unit fail on my 130i a couple of years ago at a cost of £2000+
Who knows if I'll ever get my boot rattle fixed.
