Next week I may need to go from Burlington MA to Manhattan for the day. What's the best way? Flying would be a nightmare (getting to Logan and into/out of Manhattan). I believe there is a new train service - anyone used it? Can I pick it up South of Boston? Does it arrive at Grand Central?

Just thought the holy grail of PH might have some ideas.

Off to search the 'net now ...

Just found it - thanks. The Acela express. Around 3 hours from RTE 128 station on the outskirts of Boston. That'll do me.

Funny how they think this train is so advanced. I was using the TGV at much higher speeds in 1989.
