Add on TV box

If setting up an HD TV with built in Freeview but no desire to pay a subscription for Sky, Virgin etc, what's the best low cost box to plug into a normal aerial socket to get the best range of HD programmes plus decent built in hard disc for recording stuff?

Refurbished Humax DTR-T1000 for about £75 including postage from the Humax Direct website does the job and includes on demand stuff too.

Can't fault it for the price.

The DTR-T2100 is a far better box. The T1000 is quite slow, and it's physically large as well.
