Well, I'm getting old, it's official.
Went to the gadget show in the NEC today (What ARE they doing on the M5?)
It wasn't the tech that caught my eye, but a live cooking demo, showing the incredible non stick abilities of the coating (not even sure it is a coating).
The bloke boiled milk to a black crisp, and rinsed it off with cold water !!!!!!yikes
The saucepan in question is made by Berg HOFF, and has a mottled balck and white coating.

Anyway, got a frying pan back home, and it's as good as it looks. Amazing. Really good.

Anyone else got one?

We have a set that Mrs G bought at a show maybe 6 years ago. We used the large deep pan a lot and it wore out in about 4 years. Still looked OK (we'd not used metal utensils, etc) but really wasn't non-stick any more. Rest are still holding up but some of the glass lids have chipped.

They're OK. Having seen what they now cost on their website (or are they just made up prices so they can sell cheaper at shows?) I probably won't be replacing them with the same.

Well we bought 2, since we were only able to mortgage the house for that much. 5 year guarantee, so that should be interesting.
