Throttle peddle squeak / stiff
Discussion
After having a new throttle cable fitted, the peddle is now ultra stiff and makes a very annoying springy/squeaky noise.
Is there some kind of bearing behind the pedal which may have come out of place?
Has anybody experience this or indeed does anybody have any ideas about the throttle pedal with regards to removing / replacing?

I think the pedal is attached with a nut/bolt through the pivot, maybe it's been overtightened.
If you pull the cable from the footwell (without moving the pedal) is it stil stiff? That would help tell if it is the pedal or the cable that is the problem
Here's a post with some info on removing the pedal
