Hi all,

I've just ordered some carbon fibre back plates to replace my totally knackered grp ones.

Given the heat experienced in this area, is there a preferred adhesive/sealant for this task? Sikaflex or Tiger Seal?

Thanks

I used tiger seal without any additional fasteners. Has held up well for the past year as there's isn't really much load acting on that joint.

All sorted woohoo

PU sealant for the back plates, black epoxy filler for a crack in the airbox, isopon P40 for the scratches in the airbox and some methacrylate adhesive to bond metal fasteners to the back of the new carbon dashboard!

Who'd have thought glue could be so complicated!
