New Griffith owner
Discussion
Hi all,
I picked up my Griffith 500 on Saturday, this is my first ever TVR as well, Thrilled with it! Certainly a credit to its previous owners, lovely condition with lots of paperwork and history. The pearlescent white looks fantastic in the sun, and its lovely to see the lines of the car still. I'm not sure what exhaust is on it, but it sounds fantastic! seems to be why my first tank of fuel has gone so fast..
The acceleration is hysterical, I was gripping so hard from the drive I've just been on my hands ache.
I have joined the TVRCC and plan to get along to as many meets as I can, I'll be taking it along to Le Mans Classic as well which I'm really looking forward to.
Heres some photos after my first drive today with the roof off.

The bonnet does seem to make a difference too, when in traffic I can see the heat rising from the vents.
come the summer you'll see the heat rising from the cabin, the bodywork and the chassis... p.s. it may already have one fitted but worth getting a mod-wise fan conversion added.

Many thanks for the fan info, I'll certainly look into that.
It's basically a thermostat and relay that allows you to set a low temperature at which the fans come on at half speed, this keeping some air moving before it all gets too hot. They then kick in a full speed as expected once it all reaches 90degC or whatever. Gassing Station | Griffith | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
