Having only been in London all my 18 year career, within back/middle office client operations for asset managers I’m now looking to potentially make a move away from the City, ideally midlands around the Nottingham area.
I manage a team of 10 including 1 supervisor and have been a manager for a few years now, overseeing client take ons/transitions, relationship management, monthly and qtly reporting, fees, due diligence meetings etc as well as day to day managements, MI, recruitment, budgets etc. Now, whilst I know pretty much every London based recruiter I am totally out of it when it comes to myself. As such what are the main sites companies use nowadays to advertise? I’m a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to sites such as linked in so am not sure how to advertise myself on there or look for roles.
Is the Midlands likely to have roles that would fit my skill set? I guess as an operations manager/client relationship person I could fit the basics for a lot of roles barr learning the industry or product. Really happy for a career change but I’m so ingrained into where I am and the industry I work in I don’t know where to start. Any thoughts, tips etc, especially around sites to peruse?

I'm from the Midlands, albeit between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

There's a fair amount of industry around my area, with some large employers to boot.

I've recently found myself a new position using CV Library. It's populated by a fair amount of recruitment agencies, so be aware, but there are still some good agencies out there.

Making a profile and uploading your CV will mean that employers and recruiters can search for you themselves too.

Good luck!
