Strange request, but with good reasons.

I have someone I am trying to find their house number out, and they have stopped replying so I would like to write to them.

I have found them on 192 but I need to buy tokens to find their latest details.

I just wondered if someone would use a spare token and let me know the house number.

(no, this isnt relating to an ex girlfriend etc, its someone who i brought something off but they owe me a small amount of money)

If someone has a different method I can provide (by DM) -

Full name including middle initial
Email address
full address excluding house number
telephone number
paypal details
facebook details

cue abuse about being a stalker, falling for a scam, being a scorned ex lover etc etc...

I can help with this as long as you can explain the correct usage of and difference between 'bought' and 'brought'.

bugger, good old dyslexia,

if you bring something you have brought it
if you have purchased something you have bought it.

If you can genuinely help then itd be great if you could private message...

What a great tool, didn't know this existed, many thanks.

However, leaves me still missing a house number which is a shame

You can usually get pretty close to the house number with the Royal Mail post code finder.

It's likely in a dense street that somebody will know who the letter is for...

Does your search result give Land Registry sales dates, if so you can possibly cross-reference this to 'Sold Prices' on rightmove.

I've narrowed it down to houses 1-42, but they appear to be a selection of flats. The nature of the letter is that it would need to be recorded, as such a generic street letter wouldn't work.

Also, with the site posted above it gives previous addresses as well on the free search, so for example it has my previous 3 addresses. The benefit with the paid 192 search is that it will give you periods of occupancy so you can check the most recent address.

top stalking... unfortunately appears his current flat is rented so sold a long time ago so not easy to be matched with the change in his electoral roll change...

What would a 192 search cost if you bought it yourself?

£7 for 6 searches but i only need one.

Equally, if I eventually have to pay then I would share them with other people...

£7 + £3 for the recorded delivery letter doesn't sound like too much for the lack of hassle. unless he owes you £11 smile
