Welcome to PH!

Dream car material that (well mine anyway) and an excellent selection of mods. The B5 has aged very gracefully and still commands so much road presence.

Please put up some more photos soon!

I was looking at these, but they're commanding strong money these days! Deservedly so, but I expected them to be cheaper than the B7's

How have you found it, running cost wise?

Petrol it's about 15 to 17 mpg in town and on the motorway taking it easy about 25mpg.
Works out about £1k every 10k miles on maintenance.
I've spent about £26k on maintaining and the upgrades I have.
It's been a cracking car and is quick too ! Good to see they are going up in value but I wouldn't sell

Excellent.
I had a Noggy blue one for a couple of years and loved it. Seems I sold at just the wrong time as the owner after me recently sold it for 50% more than he bought it from me after less than 18 months!

I never would have sold it if I hadn't had my eye on a Vantage.

Love the alcantara 'gmbh' steering wheel, quite a rare fit from the factory. Mine had the gmbh wheel and gear knob from new but i replaced the wheel as it was quite worn after around 90k. Got a replacement off ebay.

Anyway, I miss it.

Stunning Noggy you had ! I paid £26k for my RS4 but it was only 5 years old at the time
I have to clean the alcantara every couple of months to keep in prestine condition.

Very nice car and impressive figures.

Personally not a fan of the wheels at all though, probably the colour rather than the design.

Yep I know Jules lol
I like the standard wheels and prefer them in the gunmetal grey they have been painted.
Still on original turbos and clutch even with 179,000 on the clock.
