"RAC says prices have risen 3.4p a litre on average – the first increase on the forecourts since July 2015"

Well at least it was good while it lasted!

I saw one garage in Holloway Road with fuel at £1.45/l when the Shell down the road was just putting theirs up to £1.08/l

Last year I paid £75 a week, now I travel a similar mileage each week but it only costs me less than a tenner. Still have 5 seats, nice BOSE sound system, and don`t have big garage bills either. Only down side has been doing 46mph in 40 limit, cost me £95 doing the DTC but I love the nippy acceleration. Must use the limiter and cruise control more, sigh Oh how boring.

Motorists have been warned that the period of lower fuel prices is over after the cost of petrol rose last month for the first time since July 2015

Experts said the 3.4p a litre rise in average pump prices to 105p was a result of oil reaching $40 (£28) a barrel for the first time since early December.

And yet I read a week or two back that storage space for all the extracted oil was running short. Apparently the Iranians don't intend to hold back - they hate the Saudis anyway.

Refinery capacity issues?
