DA Machine Polisher Backing Plates? Fixed or Flexible?
Discussion
I've just bought a TORQ 10FX and I got it as part of a kit, in which came a flexible 5 inch backing plate. I'll be using the polisher to do some paintwork correction to my car in the next couple of weeks, and I can't find a lot of information on the internet on which is the best to use.
I'm leaning towards putting on the flexible backing plate, just because it sounds like it will make it easier to go over the lumps and bumps of bodywork on the car, would there be any need to use the fixed plate? Is that more for vehicles which just have completely flat body panels with no lines or things?
Many thanks
