South Bucks Classic Car and Bike Meet threads...
Discussion
Hi,
I once again have had one of my threads removed in the regional sections. Every year I post up a thread in both the Bed, Bucks regional forum and the Thames Valley regional section. My meet borders the two regions and have got people in both sections who come to the meet. It's open to all clubs and it's not as though I'm spamming everywhere, it is just those two sections.
Please can I have the Thames Valley post reinstated? This is the second or third year I've had to do this? Trigger happy mod?

Nothing to do with trigger happy mods, we like you have a set of rules to work to.
Rule no.4 states:=
Do not post or link for the purposes of advertising or personal gain (including cars for sale) or cross-post across multiple forums. If you wish to advertise please use the classifieds or contact us directly. Please note that we do not allow members to advertise their own car in the forums, nor do we allow members to post asking for valuations on their current car (please use the classifieds as a guide).
So if you cross post threads will get removed.

Granted, but this is the 2nd or 3rd year that I have posted across the two sub forums because of the nature of my meet and the areas that are covered. Garlick cleared this for me last time and since then I haven't had any grief, so why now?
It's a car meet! I'm only trying to maximise it's publicity to your members, it's not spam, there's no personal gain, some members will only view the Thames Valley, other will only view the Beds and Bucks.
Does it really cause that much trouble?

Mainly because we can't remember what Garlick agreed to and with what member, suggest you contact oliver.moore@haymarket.com otherwise it'll probably just get removed again by another mod.It's a car meet! HTH.
C&P your existing thread and post up again, (only one more) mention I've agreed the cross post
It may still get removed.

Please can I have someone explain what is going on?!
I repost it, including a little line at the bottom about Big Al. saying it is ok for me to do so. That gets removed. I post another thread that is not the same, but helps keep those in the other forum up to date. That gets removed with an email telling me I've already got this posted twice?
Come on guys, it's a sodding car meet for YOUR members!!
