Squeaky belts & not getting up to temperature :(
Discussion
Soooooo
The good old Squeaky Belt Vantage issue has been driving me nuts over the last few months so thought a quick trip to DAE last week was in order to solve the problem.

Out with the Old (think there are 3 but only took a picture of these offending items!)

In with the New Pulleys and New Belt

Now I just have the pleasant sound of the V8 with no squeak......
While I was there I mentioned the car sometimes wouldn't get up to temperature on a cold day on a gentle run, so James pulled the thermostat out to find this!

Basically the rubber seal had warped and come off its intended position meaning the thermostat was permanently open causing the whole cooling system active rather than going in and out of close / open loop to keep the correct temperature.
Fired a new on in and all perfecto
Good job done by DAE again, thanks
