I'm in a position to buy a Nikon D3200 with 18-55 and 50-200 VR lenes for 200.
Question is would this be a worthwhile upgrade over my current Pentax K-R? I've got the same 18-55/50-200 lenses I got with the camera so not like I've invested a great deal in it.
I'm no professional, just pictures for family events, cats, cars, bikes, auroras, landscapes, that sort of thing.
D3200 is newer and has moar pixels (12m vs 24m) although I know that means jack especially as the sensor sizes are approx. the same.
I have wondered about getting a 18-200 lens, about 120 new for a Tamron jobbie or similar... except while the Pentax has VR built into the body, getting a used Nikon VR lens seems could set me back at 250 or more...
