Shaun's R53 Track Toy
Bought this R53 last year for my ex to use whilst learning to drive... she went AWOL eventually so I made the decision to turn it into a fun/track day car

Not wanting to throw too much cash at it. Ive tried to keep it relatively low budget, using secondhand parts wherever I can. First few months were really just giving it a good service, changing all the fluids etc... Now Im at a stage where all Ive left to do is fit the pulley next week ready for Croft on the 20th

Spec:

Engine

KAVS 17% SC Pulley (to fit)
GRS Intercooler
Homemade Dave F
Upgraded NGK Plugs (to fit)
Single exit Cooper cat back

Exterior

Trimmed rear arches
Removed ghastly viper stripes
Rear wiper delete
De-chromed (still need to do door handles)
Cooper rear bumper trim

Wheels

MG Hairpins - 205/50/16 Federal RSR's
16mm Spacers all round
Stud kit

Suspension

Gaz Gold Coilovers
Gaz Adj Top Mounts
Direnza Adj Control Arms

Brakes

R56 Calipers
Mtec Discs
Goodridge Braided lines
ATE Brake Fluid
Carbotech XP8 pads

Interior

OMP Corsica steering wheel & hub
Clubsport XL seats
GP seat delete

Only things left on the to do list is maybe start replacing some bushings with powerflex items, and considering a PH3 Newman cam & tune.

And yes, Im fully aware its a bit of a gay colour, but hey, at least its not grey

Thanks for looking!
