London Marathon course

Afternoon all,
I'll be putting my name into the ballot for 2017, even though it looks like there's a 1:10 chance of getting a place
Where I currently run is very very hilly, looking at the elevation profile it looks near-as-much flat.
Those of you who have run it before, am I correct in assuming gradient/elevation isn't real much of an issue?
thx
