Hi All,

I've come back into the fold after selling my 996 C4S last year. Bit gutted about selling it as it was a great example. Anyway, upwards and onward! Thinking to get a Gen 2 997 'S' and just wondered if anyone had any recommendations...Looking at the usual Cridfords, RSJ and 911Virgin,,,anywhere else?

Also, should a budget of 40k get me a good example?

Thanks

£40k might be a push, friend of mine picked one up recently for £43k. Manual or PDK - try Harbour Cars and Chappell Sports cars Chichester.

OP. My old Gen 2 997 C2S, manual in Guards Red, is currently on sale at RPM Technik. Great car, no issues, no stories, and I have no vested interest as they bought the car off me for stock. Good people to deal with. Fits your budget, too. Good luck.

Got my GT3RS off 911Sport. Decent guys to deal with in my experience.

OP: please PM me if you're still looking, as I'm contemplating selling my '09 black/black C2S Gen 2, Manual. Cheers

I have just brought a gen 2 C4S from RPM and I can highly recommend them. I looked at the red car and its a good example so definitely worth considering.

Well, look no further. Dovehouse are selling my 997 Gen 2 Carrara S for only £38K. I bought it from Dovehouse a year ago - absolutely love the car & wasn't going to sell tbh but had a chance to buy a new Boxster Spyder. I must admit it wasn't an easy decision as my 997 is great. It has also had a full Gtechniq detail. Simon or Harvey at Dovehouse will really look after you.
