He's already quite a character, hopefully going to provide my partner and I a lot of love and good times.

Thanks all, house training is going well so far.

He really likes playing with his squeaky turtle and Homer Simpson toys!

Can't wait for all injections and what not so we can start taking him on walks and getting him socialised with other dogs.

1 quick question, in our situation with such a small pup, how would you react upon meeting a boisterous and potentially dangerous dog out on a walk? I'm really thinking about coming across a chav with a pit bull type. Would you pick him up, cross the road or let them interact?

If she is anything like my fearless Mini Schnauzer, bark like mad at them then hide behind my legs!

Honestly, interact with smaller dogs that you know are well behaved, if you dont like the look of a dog coming towards you, cross over.

Try and get to puppy socialisation classes/groups near you as soon as the jabs are done. Most of the ones near us are free and then lead on to puppy training.

That helps massively in the dog learning how to interact with other dogs, as they grow keep trying to have as much interaction with other dogs as possible.

We've done everything we can to make sure Brandy is well socialised as she is a bit of a bruiser and at a year old I trust her with all dogs and children (still supervised). She is a staffy cross so looks a bit mean to some people I guess !

If she meets a dog that is aggressive or doesn't want to play she just ignores them.

My mum has a schweenie thing that is smaller than a pug and they have a right ball out in the garden

Gorgeous; our family love Pugs, sadly Humphrey our fawn Pug died a few years ago, they are such great characters, one day we will get another one.
