Someone somewhere told my neighbour that I'm reasonably PC literate. I'm sure it was not me.

Had a request to go round today as his wifi extender had stopped working. Not in the mood with a hangover.

Back to basics checked all wiring and knocked his broadband off altogether. I suspect his wiring is hanging by a thread.

Now this is not my day job and I was just trying to help for free obviously. I get told that I've just made it worse and not to touch anything. My daughter ran for cover. He was actually fairly unpleasant.

Got it all working, and fixed his extender, but will be a long time until I''m ready to back again.

So, he asked you to go round, on a Sunday then criticised you and was frosty even after you had restored the connection?

I would have been tempted to yank out all the cables one minute after connection was established, then told him to find a pro instead,

I like it. Atleast then he may never know who the guilty party is and when he calls you over to fix it, politely tell him to foxtrot oscar.

Do you want to borrow my attack nun? She can piss through a letterbox at twenty paces.

If she misses, mind, I don't want you complaining and upsetting her...

Slightly OT, I once bought all my staff an attack nun for Christmas...

We turned off the shop lights and had races, great fun!

No letterbo-pissing was involved (AFAIK)
