My fat lazy mate recorded a low resting heart rate when he had a medical exam years ago, I've never heard the end about how fit he really is.
Low RHR when you are fit and train a lot is ok
Low RHR when you are a lazy b
d is not good news: http://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/tc/bradycardia-...I'm no Dr but looks like Hugh is and Miguel Indurain had the record for the lowest recorded RHR at 28. So for yours to be hitting 32 you are either very, very fit, or something isn't quite right.
200-300 miles per week on the bike is very impressive though, I'm clocking that a month. Chapeau.

Im a cyclist and have 52 HB , cycle 100 plus miles a week
When I was un fit , drank loads and ate s
t in my 20s (not overweight though) it was 58/60
Not much difference, in me from when fit and unfit, although I cycled loads as a kid and teen, so that might lower it by default?
Where I do notice a big difference when fitter is its ability to return to resting heart beat after exercise
I used to get dizzy if I got up quick, less so now, just sometimes
