Personally I think that's a pretty sad story, bloke splits up with his misses, suffers from drink and drug problems and in desperation tries to earn a quick buck.

Certainly don't think it deserves him to lose the use of his legs for life.

Was pleased to see he has managed to sort himself out and turn his life around through sport.

I don't see how the two events are linked.

Hence the use of the word 'karma' - good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering.

Don't believe in all this "karma" rubbish.

Karma as in some kind of supernatural force that rewards good and punishes evil is utter crap.

Karma, as in a drug dealer is more likely to get shot in the face than a librarian, is common sense. If you live your life like a tosser, crappy things are more likely to happen to you.

Fair point, but I wouldn't call ALL librarians tossers, there are good and bad ones.

It's the ones that put the Karma Sutra away in a different position every day that annoy me.
